Girl Scouts of Macomb County - Otsikita Council Inc. provides a supportive environment where girls gain valuable life skills, self-confidence and establish friendships that last a lifetime. The Girl Scout program is girl-driven, reflecting the ever-changing needs and interests of participating girls. Girls make decisions, plan and accomplish things for themselves as a group and individually. Through Girl Scouting, girls are able to grow strong and not only succeed, but excel in the world today.

Our successes are only possible with the generous support contributed each year by individuals, corporations and foundations. These gifts and grants play a critical role in helping us deliver unique and engaging programs to more than 12,300 girls each year.

• Fund Raising Events - We hold two special events each year to raise money for Girl Scouts of Macomb County:
  • Partnership Luncheon - Mark your calendars for February 27, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at Ferm Hill Country Club for this annual FREE, fund raising event. Come join us for a lite lunch and hear more about what Girl Scouts are doing in your local area. We will make a request for donations, although many of our guests find other ways to support our council, such as volunteer opportunities!   • Women of Distinction Awards Dinner - Taking place on May 13, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at Fern Hill County Club.  This event honors women who have made significant accomplishments in both their personal and professional lives and are wonderful role models for our girls. • Planned Giving - Would you like to remember Girl Scouts of Macomb County in your estate plans? • Cell phone donations - We are working with American Cellular Donation Organization to recycle working and non-working phones to help the environment and benefit Girl Scouts of Macomb County. • Charity Motors - Got an old clunker? Need to get rid of a car? Charity Motors will pick it up from you and mail the proceeds from auction to support Girl Scouts when you indicate us as the beneficiary! • Brick Pavers - Talk about a gift to last a lifetime! Buy a brick paver around our flag pole and inscribe it to commemorate a person or occasion. Cost is $75 and we install them each September, during our council flag ceremony. Click here for a donation form.
  • Announcing!  Girl Scouts of Macomb County’s 50^th Anniversary Brick Paver program at Camp Hawthorn Hollow!  If you are interested in purchasing a brick paver at camp, please notify our fund development assistant at eschutt@girlscouts-macomb.org.  Once we have enough interest, we’ll have a grand kick-off celebration!
• Macomb Daily - Our local paper supports Girl Scouts! For every new, 13-week subscription that selects Girl Scouts, we will receive a $35.00 donation. Be informed AND support Girl Scouting! Click here to subscribe.
