Southeastern Michigan Realignment

The following current councils will realign to form a new Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan Council:  Girl Scouts Fair Winds Council, Girl Scouts of Macomb County - Otsikita Council, Girl Scouts of Metro Detroit, Girl Scouts – Michigan Waterways Council, and a part of the Girl Scouts of Huron Valley council.  The proposed new jurisdiction is defined by the counties of Genesee, Lapeer, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Sanilac, St. Clair, and Wayne.

 

The realignment process began on October 1, 2007 and is scheduled to finalize December 1, 2008.
